You can't believe how many people have done things they don't like to do, but do for the person they think is forever. Now Reddit did ask the question and the responses varied from dancing to taking a cruise!
So, instead of being honest, we just go along with it all in the name of love! Is that crazy or what? The Mike & Carla Morning Show talking about it this morning blew up the talk and text lines.
What Are Those Things We Do For Love
The reason this whole topic got started was that Carla Rea's friend has a daughter who is dating a guy. To impress him, she went along for the ride to hot yoga! Keep in mind the young lady had never done hot yoga, nor did she like it when she tried it...but it's the things we do for love!
One guy said it all when he went to see a Russian opera in New York! 4 freakin' hours of sitting there just because he wanted to impress the other person. But, it was at the Met in NYC, so there's that...uh sorry, still wouldn't go!
Not to mention the woman who went to Comic Con! Dressed up and all...sorry, but both Mike & Carla have to draw the line somewhere!
Of course, on the other hand, we do what we have to do. The thought is that as get older that we definitely draw the line sooner than later.
It got people talking and if you take a couple of minutes to listen, it might hit close to home. See if you can't relate after listening...maybe something might pop up in your past...and enjoy!
