HomeAid Southern Nevada’s Target Homelessness Event
Las Vegas’ homeless population has been steadily increasing over the last few years. And a local non-profit is tackling the issue in a different kind of way. HomeAid Southern Nevada collaborates with other non-profits in Las Vegas to face head on the issue of homelessness. Their mission is to help those experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness build new lives. They do this through housing development, community engagement and education.
HomeAid Southern Nevada is hosting their 10th annual Target Homelessness event.
In partnership with Nevada Subcontractors Association, HomeAid Southern Nevada invites the Las Vegas community to join in this event. It will be held at the Pro Gun Club in Boulder City on Friday, Apr 7, 2023.
Attendees will enjoy a day of sporting clay, raffle prizes, food, beer and a lot of fun. Teams must be at least four members and fees include cart rental, ammunition, lunch, a t-shirt and a hat. Gun rental will be available on request but participants are also encouraged to bring their own.
Some of the proceeds of the event will go toward HomeAid‘s community outreach and housing programs. As well as their program that provides workforce development for homeless individuals. These programs not only provide shelter for Las Vegas‘ homeless, but gets them on the path to getting off the streets for good.
