Las Vegas’ Very First Cannabis Lounge Is Open For Business
Cannabis is now about as common to enjoy as a glass of wine, or a beer. And the first cannabis lounge has opened in Las Vegas.
Smoke And Mirrors Cannabis Lounge Opens In Las Vegas
Recreational use of marijuana was legalized in 2017 in Nevada. And Now Las Vegas has opened its first regulated cannabis lounge. Tourist, and locals, can now consume and enjoy cannabis in a plush new atmosphere.
The new Smoke and Mirrors is open for business. It is located on 2975 Sammy Davis Jr. Drive.
The new lounge is reminiscent of Las Vegas lounges of a past generation. It wasn’t open yet (business hours) when I stopped by. But I took a peek from the outside. It’s cool! Sort of a mid-century modern living room. But unlike your parents living room, this one offers about 60 different strains of marijuana, and marijuana infused cocktails. Yes, you can also get uninfused.
More Than Just ‘Weed’
The drink prices range from $15 to $23, depending on how much you want to infuse your drink. For 2.5mg you’ll pay $19 dollars, for 5mg, you’ll hand over $23 dollars. Pretty standard Las Vegas pricing.
And some nice drinks. Mocktails, or infused cocktails. Mr Brightside (yes, one of you favorite local LV bands): Sobredo valencia orange, watermelon juice, Lime Juice, and Tajin. You Don’t Have To Bring Me Flowers: Sobredo Vietnamese Anise, passionfruit juice, lime juice, agave, and fresh mint. NICE! And many more, of course.
Smoke and Mirrors also had “Bud” Beers. Not Budweiser, but really good beers – on their own, or infused. And yes – a wide variety of actual bud for you to choose from.
Events And Hours
Smoke and Mirrors is open from 4 p.m. to midnight on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and from noon to midnight Thursdays through Sundays. They have resident, and guest DJ’s playing tracks from the 70’s and 80’s, right on up to electronic, and chillpop.
The plush new Las Vegas cannabis lounge is definitely going to set the tone for those opening next in Las Vegas. Smoke and Mirrors has done a nice job! And early reviews are giving it a big thumbs up!
