Normal Or Nope: Turning On The Water After Getting In The Shower
It’s something for discussion, but when you think about it, is turning on the water after you get into the shower “normal or nope?” That’s what popped up on The Mike & Carla Morning Show!
Believe it or not, a few listeners who chimed in said they actually do it! It’s like…WHAT? Especially during those summer months. The initial cold water jolt is enough to wake them up and get them ready for the day.
Now according to Quora, it seemed the norm with a lot of people giving their opinions. We were a little more than shocked! But again, according to our listeners, they need to warm up that water!
Do You Turn On The Water In The Shower After Getting In
A majority of people said that it was NOT normal. You need to turn the water on first, set the water temp, maybe do something else, then get in! Not a lot of us need that early morning shock!
How about wearing your socks to bed? Normal or Nope? That was another question thrown out there. Of course a few of us said, sure why not. When it’s cold outside, leave ’em on, but then for some reason during the middle of the night, you have no problem slipping them off!
And one last one that seem to hit a nerve…take the last sip out of a drink or a bottle. For example, how tempted are you to take the final little bit of milk out of the carton. Carla Rea said, “no way!”
It didn’t matter if it was milk, orange juice or even a cocktail! Maybe that’s why Mike O’Brian suggested a straw! He uses one for cocktails, a soda…however milk and OJ are out of the question!
All three questions posed a dilemma for listeners this morning, but interesting takes. Clearly, not everyone agrees on everything. But the shower thing was the one thing that stood out….if you turn on the water when you’re in the shower, you’re in the minority.
Do yourself the favor, listen to the segment from this morning and you can decide for yourself…and enjoy!
