Las Vegas Aviators Looking For National Anthem Singers
The boys of summer are warming up and believe it or not, baseball will be here sooner than later. For that reason, the Las Vegas Aviators are looking for those that would like to sing The National Anthem! That’s right…sing the Star Spangled Banner at a home game for the Las Vegas Aviators!
Can you imagine, the ballpark sold out…standing room only and you are set to sing the National Anthem? Well, workout the vocal chords because auditions are happening and you could be center stage with a microphone in your hand! According to a story from our friends at Channel 3, the auditions begin on December 19th.
Las Vegas Aviators Want You To Sing The National Anthem!
All you have to do is submit an acapella version of you or your group singing the National Anthem. The story says you can submit a YouTube link/audio file of your version of the anthem to anthem@aviatorslv.com. Now you don’t have to hurry, you have plenty of time to practice.
Again, y0u can start submitting your video on December 19th. After that, the cutoff date is January 2nd!
If you’re good enough to pass round one, the entertainment department will reach out to you and schedule a “live” final round audition. This will take place at the ballpark on January 17th and 18th!
And Mom and Dad, listen up, there is no age limit to audition. If you think your kid has what it takes to pull this off, go ahead and sign them up. We’ve all been at a baseball game where a little kid sings the National Anthem and blows everyone away…that could be your child!
On the other hand, if you’ve sang before at an Aviators game, you’re still going to have to submit and audition video and go through the process. We know, you’d think you would have been “grandfather’d” in!
So, start practicing, do your vocal exercises and loosen up the pipes!
