“Wedding Crashers” Scheme Is Foiled After Years Of Doing It

A 57-year-old woman was recently busted and pleaded guilty to larceny, trespassing, and disturbing the peace. She was crashing a stranger’s wedding. The woman has been doing this for years and across three states.

How Do You Know The Bride & Groom?

I am not a wedding person. I hate dressing up and feeling uncomfortable. But I still do it for the weddings of those I’m close with. I’m sure I’m not alone though. But it’s because we know them, we do it. Well this woman loves going to weddings of people she doesn’t know. Not to meet them or other people, but to rob them.

Her name is Sandra Henson. According to The Messenger, the 57-year-old woman pleaded guilty to a bunch of charges. Larceny, trespassing, and disturbing the peace. She was caught crashing a wedding back in September, stealing from people attending. Most people jokingly would say, she should give up…getting caught her first time. Well the funny thing about this is she’s been crashing weddings, and stealing from people for many years. About six years to be exact.

You Crashed Weddings Where?

Sandra has crashed weddings in a total of three states, Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi. She didn’t attend the weddings to steal from the people attending. Henson also stole from the bride and the groom. Sandra would search and dig through women’s purses while they were distracted. Her prime time was during the intimate moments of the reception. She’d also take presents and gifts off of the gift table, for the bride and groom.

You Stole How Much From The Weddings?

Sandra is no doubt a professional at stealing. To go for several years without getting caught is pretty good. And to do it in multiple states is even more impressive. But how much can she making stealing from people at weddings? It can’t be that much right? Wrong! Henson has made tens of thousands of dollars doing this. The Messenger states that she made most of it through cash, credit cards, and gifts.
