A 63-year-old woman who uses a walker was arrested this past Friday, after she tried to rob a bank!
The woman can be seen on security cameras walking in to the bank slowly with her walker. She approached the teller window and handed the teller a note that read, “Your bank is being robbed! Put money in bag or people are going to get hurt.”
The teller hander her $500 and she made her way out of the bank. But Cathy Lynn Hamilton didn’t make it very far with her four-wheeled walker! A bank security officer went after her and didn’t have to try or go far to catch her. He escorted her back into the bank and held her until the New Orleans police showed up. She was then arrested by the FBI.
Sadly Cathy will serve some time for a measly $500! But if she was in need of money, now she won’t have to worry too much about expenses while in the slammer!
