Woman Fakes Pregnancy To Scam Her Job
A Georgia woman, her name is Robin Folsom, she apparently faked a pregnancy because she apparently needed seven weeks of time off. But she also needed to continue to be paid from her $100k a year job. Her solution, scam her job!
Clearly she took faking a pregnancy to the extreme! She had a baby bump and all! But her co-workers at her current job weren’t fooled. She told her job she was pregnant in late 2020 and then said she gave birth in May of 2021. Her colleagues noticed that her baby bump seemed off. A co-worker noticed the lower portion of Folsom’s belly separate from her actual stomach and automatically believed she wore a fake pregnant stomach!
To make it worse, Robin sent pictures of her kids to her co-workers, but the pictures didn’t add up either! The children in the pictures all had different skin tones. This made her co-workers even more suspicious! The employees went to human resources to report it. She also faked an email to her job, claiming to be the father of her baby and that she needed additional time off. Her job gave her the seven weeks off because of it. The father was obviously made up by her as well.
She was eventually caught. Now Robin Folsom is facing three counts of false statements and identity fraud! Yes, she’s done this before!
