Mike And Carla Talk To Ross Matthews, Drew Barrymore’s Co-Host
The Drew Barrymore Show kicked off season three, and The Mike and Carla Morning Show had a GREAT time talking to Drew Barrymore’s co-host, Ross Matthews. He even called in himself, by the way – no “people,” no “hold for Ross Matthews please.” He just dialed us up, and we had a blast talking to him!
Matthews first rose to fame as an intern and a correspondent for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, on which he was known as “Ross the Intern”. He’s hilariously funny, and one of the hardest working people in show business.
Mathews has appeared on Celebrity Fit Club, The Insider, Celebrity Big Brother, as a weekly panelist on Chelsea Lately, and on Carla Rea’s favorite – Days Of Our Lives. He is a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race and hosts a weekly podcast with Westwood One Studios, along with co-hosting The Drew Barrymore Show. He was also a co-host on Live from E!
Matthews married Dr. Wellinthon García in a beachside ceremony in May. Guess who the flower girl was? Drew Barrymore!
Raised in Mount Vernon, Washington, Mathews graduated from Mount Vernon High School, then in 2002 graduated from the University of La Verne, in La Verne, California, where he majored in communications and was a speech and debate competitor.
Matthews is a HUGE Seattle Seahawks fan. A big Russell Wilson supporter, but he’s no fair-weather fan – he supports his team no matter who is playing for them! He told Mike and Carla what his goal is with
