1 In 3 Parents Prefer Their Pets Over Their Kids
Yikes, that sounds like a pretty high number. But I guess it makes sense, right? Pets don’t normally talk back or slam doors. You don’t risk spoiling them if you buy them treats on days other than their birthday. And you can go out on a date night without paying a fortune for a sitter.
The NY Post released this survey that says a third of parents actually prefer their fur babies to their real ones. And that percentage is treating their pets just as well, or better, than their actual kids. Including birthday parties and human-quality food. So where do you stand?
