Lindo Michoacan Restaurant Is A Long-Time Las Vegas Favorite
When I first moved to Las Vegas over 30 years ago from the Inland Empire of Southern California, I asked many locals about their favorite Mexican restaurants. After all, Southern California certainly has plenty of them.
I quickly found out that the original Lindo Michoacan at 2655 East Desert Inn Road was certainly one of Las Vegas’ favorite Mexican restaurants. That location opened back in 1990, and since then, the owners have added many locations around the valley.
You can always enjoy their delicious sizzling fajitas, tableside prepared guacamole, and thirst-quenching margaritas at Bonita Michoacan, 3715 South Decatur Boulevard in Spring Valley.
In addition, there’s a Lindo Michoacan restaurant in Summerlin at 10082 West Flamingo Road.
If you check out the website of the original Lindo Michoacan, you’ll learn that owner Javier Barajas learned to cook in Michoacan, Mexico. That region is known for its amazing food, especially seafood.
Lindo Michoacan Opens Their Newest Location Inside Palace Station
Now, Lindo Michoacan is opening their fourth location. In fact, visitors to Las Vegas will soon learn how delicious their food is because their newest location can be found inside Palace Station Hotel Casino.
It’s opening just in time for Cinco de Mayo weekend in the location where Tacos & Tequilas used to operate. That’s according to an article by Janna Karel on Vegas.Eater.com.
New Lindo Michoacan’s Hours And Menu Specials
If you’re ready to dine there during opening weekend, you should know that operating hours will be Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Expect slightly extended hours on the weekend.
For instance, on Fridays, the newest Lindo Michoacan restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to midnight. On Saturday, you can dine there between 10 a.m. and midnight. Then on Sunday, they’ll be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. That information also comes from Karel's article.
If you’d like to see the original Lindo Michoacan’s menu, click here. Many Las Vegas locals love the house specialty. That’s the lobster tail served in a Spanish-style garlic sauce.
Another favorite is the braised veal shank in an incredible burgundy wine and dark beer sauce. But no matter which dish you choose, I’m sure you’ll love it.
