Did you know the City of Las Vegas offers free pre-school? I had no idea until now. The program is called the Strong Start Go Mobile Pre-K Academy. If you have kids between the ages of 3-5, this could be a great beginning to their academic career.

Here’s What You Need to Know About Free Pre-School In Las Vegas

Registration is now open for the 2024-2025 Strong Start Go Mobile Pre-K free pre-school classes. You should know that these are half-day classes, and spots fill up quickly. You can begin the registration process on the City of Las Vegas website by clicking here. Classes begin August 19, 2024, so get your kids ready now.

According to LasVegasNevada.gov, the Strong Start Go Mobile free pre-school program offers your kids and your family "high quality early education." Best of all, they offer these classes closer to your home.

They have four centrally located schools at which your child can attend free pre-school classes. These Strong Start Go Mobile locations include: The Sherman Gardens Annex at Owens Avenue and H Street, Derfelt Strong Future location at Twin Lakes Drive and Washington Avenue, Chuck Minker location at Mojave Road and Stewart Avenue, and finally, the Historic Westside location at Washington Avenue and D Street.

In fact, there are certain Las Vegas zip codes which receive higher priority in the registration process. So, if you live in the 89101, 89106 or 89107 zip codes, your kids and family receive first priority and your kids can attend at no cost to you.

Here’s Where You Can Get More Information About Free Pre-School Classes

Even if you do not reside in those three zip codes, you are still encouraged to apply. If you’d like to ask questions or you want more information on how these free pre-school classes work with the City of Las Vegas, you can call 702-229-KIDS.

In addition, you can also email your inquiry to the following address: arose@LasVegasNevada.GOV.
