We can feel the eye rolls from here, but men, let women win and they won’t leave you! At least that’s what one research project is trying to convenience us of! The Mike & Carla Morning Show are a little skeptical at this point, but anything to help a relationship right?

According to a recent study with the results published by the Daily Mail, it shows that men just have to let women win for them to stick around! We think there might be a little more to this than just letting them win. However, the study does show that women compete on a higher level against a stranger than against their better half!

We’ve all heard that saying, “Happy Wife, Happy Life?” Well, this is a study where it actually might be true! Letting your partner win at games might help your relationship, but shouldn’t define it.

It seems, according to the article, that women just naturally try harder when competing against someone they don’t know. Women tend to focus more, concentrating on the victory, as opposed to playing with their husbands. The article does mention miniature golf as the game of choice in this study. But we think it might be anything deemed competitive.

In the case of The M&C Morning Show, Mike O’Brian has said that when playing games with his wife, he loses quite a bit…and not on purpose! So with a victory, Mike tends to be a bad winner. Since it doesn’t happen very often, he will tell you that you have to claim your moment when you can.

Not an endearing part of his relationship with Jodi, but it works. On the other hand, both Carla Rea and Angie are competitive…so it’s a toss up there. Just remember though, if your wife catches you reading this post, it’s probably over for you! So, walk light, play fair and good luck!
