One Thing You Shouldn’t Do At Harry Reid International Airport

If you’re thinking about traveling in the very near future and parking at the airport, there’s one thing to remember! The one thing you shouldn’t do at Harry Reid International Airport is back in when you park! Ha! So, The Mike & Carla Morning Show want to give you a heads up!

Never even thought about that did you? If you do, according to airport security, if you do, you could be cited! From now on you have to pull into your parking spot. And why wouldn’t you? If for anything else, it would make it that much easier to load in your luggage in the trunk of your car or SUV!

Parking at Harry Reid International Airport, remember this!

It seems a lot of people have been backing in just to hide their outdated temporary plates. How do you solve that? Make sure that travelers know to pull in instead of backing into parking spots.

There are signs to alert those parking at the airport, but this is a reminder to do so and avoid getting cited. Keep in mind that there are various ways to park at the airport.

In Terminal 1, short term parking is usually preferred. Rates can run you up to the daily maximum of $36. Keep in mind that short term parking is for those thinking they need it for three hours or less. Located just outside Terminal 1 in the covered parking garage on Level 2M.

On the other hand, thinking long term, then that would be for more than three hours and is located in the garage immediately across from adjacent Terminal 1 on Levels 1M, 2M, 3, 4, 5, and 6. Daily rates can run up to about $16 for the daily maximum.

Listen, sometimes it’s just better off to be dropped off or Uber to the airport nowadays. But if indeed you have to park, just a friendly reminder, don’t back in, pull in. It’ll just make it easier on everyone involved.

And the last thing you want to see on the windshield of car after a wonderful vacation is a citation!
