FREE Bus Rides Las Vegas Offered Up By RTC On New Year’s Eve

This holiday season, take advantage as the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada will offer FREE bus rides on New Year’s Eve! The RTC will offer FREE rides on all 39 routes from 6pm on New Year’s Eve to 9am New Year’s Day and several additional routes will run on a 24-hour schedule or with extended hours.

The Mike & Carla Morning Show letting you know that in addition to the FREE bus rides, the RTC is making transit even more accessible by running additional extended service hours on nine routes and complete 24-hour service on 14 routes.

“This is one of the busiest times of the year for travel, and we urge anyone heading in or out of Las Vegas to plan ahead for heavy traffic and pack your patience,” according to David Swallow, RTC deputy chief executive officer, who went on to say, “We know travelers are eager to get to their destination with their family and friends this holiday season. “

The Las Vegas area is expected to see heavier than usual traffic this holiday weekend as well as during the New Year’s weekend, with that in mind the RTC will be operating on both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day! Be aware that the RTC is warning residents as well as tourists headed to Las Vegas over the next couple of weekends should prepare for longer travel time and delays.

For those flying over the next couple of holiday weekends, FREE parking is available at the Centennial Hills Transit Center or the South Strip Transit Terminal where you have direct access to Harry Reid International Airport’s Ground Level Zero at Terminal 1 via the Centennial Express or Route 109 (Maryland Parkway).

New Year's Eve Las Vegas Style: Where To Go And Party

New Year’s Eve Las Vegas style is the epitome of glitz, glamour and glorious extravagance.

Like the East Coast’s legendary “Ball Drop” in New York City’s Time Square, Las Vegas has its own iconic NYE celebrations that attract people from across the globe.

From the plethora of special shows, concerts and performances happening throughout New Years Eve and the days leading up to it, it’s a complete party in Las Vegas when it comes to celebrating the start of a new life chapter.

The Strip hosts an iconic fireworks show, and the main theme for this year’s celebration seems to be “Let’s Go Big,” according KTLA.

People who are visiting The Strip for this show should expect a beautiful explosion of dazzling fireworks when the clock strikes midnight.

The fireworks will be launched from multiple famous Strip properties. According to KTLA, officials will launch fireworks from eight major casinos along Las Vegas Boulevard. The properties include MGM Grand, Aria Resort and Casino, Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Casino and Resort, Caesars Palace Las Vegas, Treasure Island Hotel and Casino, The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, Resorts World Las Vegas and The STRAT!

Downtown Las Vegas will also have a great night of festivities and great performances from bands like Sugar Ray, All-4-One, The Wailers, DJ Skribble, and more. Tickets for this even cost $50.

If you’re not a Vegas local or you’ve never been to The Strip during major events then here are some tips to help you navigate NYE in Vegas correctly. If you haven’t booked your hotel yet then you need to do that as soon as possible. Rooms are filled quick, especially budget-friendly rooms that aren’t horrendous. Plan ahead because traffic on The Strip will be congested. Las Vegas Boulevard will most likely be packed with cars and pedestrians.

    This fireworks display is one of the most well-known when it comes to NYE celebrations on The Strip. Enjoy this dazzling fireworks show that will have eight different major casinos participating with the launching of fireworks. America’s Party 2023’s theme is “Let’s Go Big,” which speaks for itself in terms of what’s in store of attendees. According to the event’s website, the show will be viewable pretty much anywhere along The Strip’s Las Vegas Boulevard, and it’s free!

    Enjoy a spectacular fireworks show, fired from the roofs of the various hotels across the city.   • Time of Your Life Festival - Fremont Street Experience

This isn’t a “party” per se, but it’s a great way to relax amid the craziness of NYE in Las Vegas. You can’t just get free champagne at the ice bar, however. You will still need to purchase the actual drink and photo package initially.

    This is the ultimate stop for your Latin party wishes. From DJ sets that play reggaetón and Latin Trap to LIVE banda music, Señor Frogs is definitely an action-packed dance party. We recommend getting tickets early (and this goes for the rest of the events on the list).

    Enjoy dinner and a show at The Bellagio’s Mayfair Supper Club! Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak will be hosting an exclusive event at The Mayfair Supper Club. However, this isn’t a “cheap” party by any means. The “cheapest” seats available for this event is close to $7,000 with closer sets to the stage costing you close to $10,000. Well, it will most likely be an experience you and your wallet never forget.
