If you have a friend come over and she parks in a zone meant only for tenants, is it fair that you pay if her car gets towed? That's what happened to one guy that left a message for The Mike & Carla Morning Show and he wanted to know if he could actually ask for his money back!

Here's how it all went down...evidently this young lady went to see a guy, she pulls into the apartment complex and parks her car. Now the guy hasn't explained the parking situation at his complex that there are signs for people who live there and other spots for visitors. Clearly she doesn't see the signs that say "This Area For Tenants Only, All Others Will Be Towed"!

As it turns out, her car gets towed, the guy feels bad that he didn't tell her and gives her the $250.00 to get her car out of the pound. As the guy is leaving for work the next morning, he sees the sign as clear as day and wonders how he's friend didn't see it. With that said, he wonders if it's okay to ask for his money back since it was clearly marked and easy to see...so it's really her fault!

So, The M&C Morning Show through it out there to ask listeners what they thought the guy should do and he wasn't getting much sympathy! As one listener put it, "...if he expects a second visit, I wouldn't ask for or even bring up the money!" As Mike O'Brian pointed out, you can't take "nice" back! Carla Rea felt the same way and thought the guy should just count his monetary losses and chuck it up to experience!

What would you tell the guy...well, listen to the segment from this morning and you decide.
