There is always something to celebrate and today we celebrate those born to wear boxer shorts! Today is “National Boxer Shorts Day” and The Mike & Carla Morning Show wanted to know about your boxer shorts! That’s right! What is the weirdest, wildest thing you’ve seen people doing in their boxer shorts?
Now given that a lot of people wear them just as shorts nowadays, but at some point there has to be a limit right? Or maybe not according to the texts and calls M&C had coming in this morning. One young lady tried to explain her boxer shorts story, but clearly she had been out all night long before calling in!
One other listener actually has a guy around the block that feels his man cave is the only place to show off his boxers! Which is fine, however, it happens to be in his garage and most of the time the garage door is wide open for the world to enjoy!
One thing we love about The M&C Morning Show is that you can listen anywhere you go through the FREE KKLZ app…and with that said, Tony in Texas wanted to know that although he is glad to celebrate the day, he’s more of a “whitey-tighties” type guy!
But why are the boxers so popular? is it the loose fit? Is it that anyone can wear them? And you can seemingly wear them anywhere?
It really doesn’t matter any more does it? Men wear them, women aren’t afraid to where them no matter what’s going on throughout the day…it’s what we could call “casual” wear now! Nonetheless, M&C wanted to talk to you this morning…so sit back and enjoy the segment from this morning because today, it’s all about the BOXERS!

When it comes to Thanksgiving traditions, every family is different. Some bring out their finest attire for the get-together. Others get casual and prefer a day of comfort over style. Personally, I’ve always found myself in the latter. Which means Thanksgiving T-Shirts are a must.
I mean, it only makes sense. Thanksgiving is the one day we all turn to gluttons and eat as if we were about to spend the next four months hibernating. Some would say (me, I’m the ‘some’) that Thanksgiving is actually the best day of the year for sweatpants. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want any buttons, zippers, or belts getting in the way of my eating.
Being comfortable on Thanksgiving isn’t all about sweatpants, however. It’s only half of the solution. You’re going to need a funny Thanksgiving-themed shirt to go along with your comfortable clothes. Even better, you can get the whole family in comfortable clothes with funny shirts. There are enough to go around, and you can find one to fit the personality of everyone at the table. This year, on Thanksgiving, I’m thankful for these Thanksgiving T-Shirts. If you’re looking to start a new holiday tradition, look no further! Check out these hilarious shirts below!
Let’s start with a statement shirt. We all know what day it is. Let your shirt serve as a reminder, not only to you, but to the entire family. We’re here to eat. This year, we’re going all out and leaving nothing on the table (both figuratively and literally).
I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not the biggest fan of cranberry sauce. However, on Thanksgiving you’ve got to enjoy it. It’s the one time of year we eat it, even if I don’t love it, I can make it work for one day. However, others don’t share my apathy. Some members of my family love the stuff and would eat it every day if they could. Other members of the family will just appreciate the pun because the sauce they typically get lost in on Thanksgiving is not cranberry.
Everyone knows the famous hit‘Tootsee Roll’ by 69Boyz. You can’t see this on a shirt and not sing along. You’d instantly be the hit of the party if you show up in this. Get one for just you, or the whole family. Just be prepared to sing.
You wait yourentire life to make it to the adult table, only to miss being at the kids’ table. Why are they having so much fun as I’m stuck listening to Uncle Bill talk about his divorce? This isn’t where I belong! Take me back to the kids’ table. At least there I won’t be the only one playing with my food.
Star Wars fans—this is the shirt you’re looking for. I mean, how cute is that? Star Wars fans will love it, and family members who don’t know Star Wars will still agree it’s the most adorable shirt ever. Just make sure everyone knows that you are still eating turkey…not a Porg.
This shirt is adorable and will look good in the family pictures. It’s always cute to dress up the kids on Thanksgiving and this would be a great choice for all the cousins.
Beast mode? More like Feast Mode! While Thanksgiving may be the best time to bring this shirt out, it can work any day of the year. Let’s be honest, Thanksgiving isn’t the only day we’re going to feast. You’ll be ready to chow down all year round with this shirt in your arsenal. Especially on Thanksgiving!
Heads up! This makes for an amazing Thanksgiving shirt. “As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly.” By far one of the best episodes from WKRP in Cincinnati. Is it the most piece of media for Thanksgiving? I think so. Thanksgivingdoesn’t get many TV episodes, specials, or songs like Christmas or Halloween do. WKRP created an iconic timeless moment with the Turkey drop episode. Itdoesn’t get old. Now, you can proudly rock it at your Thanksgiving.
This can be a funny shirt, just be careful who you give it to! Maybe not the best shirt to give your girlfriend to wear when you bring her to Thanksgiving to meet the family. Likewise, it may seem like a funny gift to your son’s girlfriend who’s coming to Thanksgiving this year but…it absolutely is. That would be hilarious. All jokes aside, who doesn’t love the sides on Thanksgiving? It’s often the best part!
Who says turkeys can’t be cool? Clearly, they’ve never seen one in a sunglasses doing the dab. Bring some life to Thanksgiving this year with one of these. Finishing your plate is worthy of a dab.
Another great Thanksgiving episode! This turkey head will always be associated with the iconic Friends episode. Who could forget Chandler telling Monica how he feels for her? Maybe this shirt will bring you the same sort of fortune. Hey, it worked for Monica. Buy one for you and one for the Friends in your life.

For some, Thanksgiving is a day for overindulging. That includes food, football, and beverages. Every year, someone at the family party over does it. This can be a shirt that can be awarded to the one who over does it that year (I say award but it’sreally more of a punishment), or you can buy it specifically for the one who always brings the fun. If that’s what you want to call it…
Remember making these back in the day? It’s still probably the closest I can come to creating art. Thankfully, it’s one of those things that even as bad as you draw it or make it, everyone can still tell that it’s a turkey. That doesn’t happen for most of my drawings. Make your Thanksgiving a family Throwback with one of these. Hopefully, your mom doesn’t bring yours out of the basement to show the family your creations from decades ago. Let’s leave it to the shirts.
