Mike O’Brian, from The Mike & Carla Morning Show, has a sweet tooth not many know about. Disneyland is one place O’Brian lets his guard down to indulge in his sweet cravings.
His go-to treat lives at the entrance of Adventureland inside Disneyland. Can you guess? If you guessed, DOLE WHIP, you’re correct! One can find this soft-serve pineapple treat at the Tiki Juice Bar, found in front of Walt Disney‘s Enchanted Tiki Room. This frozen delight is a favorite amongst many Disneyland goers. Mike loves DOLE WHIP because “I don’t like pineapple on pizza however pineapple is one of my favorite fruits.” If you have not tried this sunshine delicacy, you are missing out.
Are you feeling warm and sugary? Mike O’Brian‘s second favorite treat is the beloved Disneyland Churro. There is something magical about fried dough coated in cinnamon sugar. He favors the churros across the park but his favorite place to get a churro is at the stand across from the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters attraction which is located in Tomorrowland. This is O’Brian’s favorite stand because “My grandson loves Buzz Lighter.” If you’re in the mood for crunchy and sweet, the Disneyland churro is for you.
Freshly baked dough never goes out of style. When O’Brian doesn’t want to wait in a long line he heads straight for the pretzel carts located inside Disneyland. Doughy pretzels with warm melted cheese satisfy the hunger before riding Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. “I have loved pretzels since I was a kid and the melted cheese makes them even better,” says O’Brian. Keep an eye out for the pretzel cart if you’re in Frontierland.
