Sir Paul’s Playing Drums on New Foo Fighters Album
Foo Fighters are getting by with a little help from one of their (legendary) friends on their upcoming album, Concrete and Gold.
Per ET Canada, Paul McCartney will be guesting on one track and playing drums, no less. Apparently, Sir Paul arrived at the recording studio without hearing the track, sat down at a special kit a tech set up and nailed his part in two takes while Foos drummer Taylor Hawkins conducted Macca while he played.
Of course, there’s been a lot of buzz about a major pop music figure guesting on Concrete and Gold, and before you start thinking it’s McCartney, ET Canada confirmed that he’s not the mystery guest.
We can’t think of many people in the music world bigger than Paul McCartney, so for now, this mystery remains unsolved, and we may all have to wait until Concrete and Gold comes out on September 15 to find out.
