New Year Is Bringing Brian Setzer’s Rockabilly Energy To Vegas
People always say you shouldn’t feed a stray cat or it will keep coming back. But when it comes to Brian Setzer coming back to Las Vegas, we don’t mind at all.
Guitarist and singer songwriter Brian Setzer has recently announced that he is coming back to Sin City. This time to continue his Rockabilly Riot tour. The former Stray Cat lead singer has had a very big year in 2023 with his The Devil Always Collects album dropping in September. Which Setzer announced just a month prior to the release. The album, which consists of 11 new tracks, collected rave reviews by critics.
To support the new album, Setzer immediately kicked off his Rockabilly Riot tour in September of 2023. It’s the first collection of live shows that the 3-time Grammy award-winner has done in four years. And like any of Setzer’s live performances, it promises to live up to its Rockabilly name.
Setzer said that he needed that four year break and is ready to get back on stage and rock. Which he will be doing with only a three-piece band for this tour. But that doesn’t mean he won’t bring the energy. When it comes to what to expect from this show, the iconic guitarist says he will play the hits that the fans expect. But he also says that’s not all they can look forward to. “I also want to play some solo guitar and little things I’ve worked out by myself. I’ve never really gotten to do that, so it’s going to be something new”, Setzer says on his website, briansetzer.com.
The Rockabilly Riot tour will be making a stop in Las Vegas on Saturday, March 2, 2024. At the Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort for one night only. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at ticketmaster.com.
