P!nk Honored With Icon Award At BMAs
The Billboard Music Awards aired last night, and this year P!nk was chosen to be honored with the Icon Award. This is the 10th year that the Billboard Music Awards has offered this award, which recognizes an artist’s contribution to music. Prior year’s winners have included Garth Brooks, Katy Perry and Jennifer Lopez. P!nk delivered an outstanding performance prior to receiving her award. She wowed the audience with a medley of her hits, some new ones, and a heartwarming aerial performance with her daughter, Willow.

While this performance was the subject of conversation long after it was over, people were also talking about P!nk’s acceptance speech. She admitted she’d had a crush on Jon Bon Jovi, who presented her with the award, and what she did with his poster when she found out he got married. P!nk also gave props to her kids for nailing their parts and said she was looking forward to people sweating all over each other again. Check it out.
