Louis Vuitton Is Charging $8100 For A Stuffed Animal Sweater
I’m sorry…what? Louis Vuitton’s new line of clothing is causing all kinds of eyebrow raising, as it includes several shirts with stuffed animals sewn to them. Yes, you read that right. Stuffed animals…sewn to a sweater. And how much would you expect to pay for this item that looks like the result of a bad girl scout craft night? Upwards of $8100.
I know what you’re thinking, and yes. That price IS because it’s genuine stuffed animal fur. Is this a deep metaphoric commentary on animal abuse? A new trend of “comfort clothing” after the year we’ve been through? Who can say.
