There are many cats and dogs looking for a new home in the Las Vegas area. Here are the featured fur babies of the week.

Emma
The Hearts Alive Village Cat of the Week is a special little man named Emma. When he was first brought to the vet as a kitten, they thought he was a girl and hence the name. When his foster momma was told that her adorable little girl kitten was actually a boy kitten, she figured he already knew his name and didn’t want to confuse him. Emma became Em and he is now approximately 3 years old. Em needs a few minutes to warm up, but once he does… he’s super loving and cuddly. He enjoys the company of other cats and dogs and delights in an afternoon spent chasing his laser light or playing with catnip-infused toys. He also spends his days running after balls, playing with string, and exploring the world around him.
This handsome kitty had a blockage in his urinary tract. He’s healthy now but will need special food to keep him that way. If you’d like to meet Em, please stop into the Hearts Alive Village Adoption Center at 1750 S. Rainbow Blvd # 4. Open 7 days a week, 10-7 weekdays and 10-5 on weekends. His adoption fee is $65.
Bandit
Say hello to the Hearts Alive Village Adoptable Dog of the week, Bandit! This handsome 8-year-old shepherd mix gets along with everyone. He’s great with dogs, cats, and humans of all sizes. Bandit is ready to lose some weight and has added “follow little dogs around the adoption center” to his exercise regimen. He’d love to find a family who will take him for walks so he can shed those extra pounds. He’s neutered, up-to-date on his shots, and micro-chipped. He’ll be getting a dental this week to make sure his smile will warm his future adopter’s heart. If you’d like to meet this handsome boy, stop into the adoption center at 1750 S Rainbow Blvd #4 or email info@heartsalivevillage.org for more info. Be sure to catch his television debut on KTNV Morning Blend this Thursday
