Journey announced today that they will be canceling their upcoming tour with the Pretenders. They said they love the thrill of performing, but it just isn’t worth the risk. And that the health of their fans is more important.

Journey is just one of many artists or bands who have canceled upcoming engagements during the Coronavirus outbreak. While the artists themselves might not be at high risk, there’s no way to have a concert with an audience full of people while we are supposed to be social distancing.

Journey also issued an apology to the Pretenders, who were supposed to open for them during this tour. The band said they look forward to touring again when they feel it is safe to do so. Get all the details from Billboard.com.
