How Do You Know You Struck It Rich With Your $1 Bill?
A website dedicated to finding these matched bills was created. It’s called “Project2013B” and it’s helping people all over the country match these bills.
The printing mistake happened back in 2013. The bill must be a Series 2013 bill. Also, the bills will be marked with a “B” in the Federal Reserve Seal right above the serial number.
The bills serial number will also start with a B and end with a star, making it a Star Note. Only a set batch of numbers were double printed, which is why it makes these duplicates more valuable. If your bill has the previously stated items and a serial numbers between with B00000001* to B00250000* or B03200001* to B09600000*, you may wanna check the site. Your bill was part of the double printing error.
In all total, there are about 6 million of the misprinted bills, according to WealthyNickel.com. If you find one of these bills, you’re halfway there. You now need to locate that other matching bill to be able to make money. But it’s not just match the bills and you’re rich.
