We all have a $1 bill laying around or in our wallets but did you know that that dollar bill could be worth thousands?

When you get something of a value you keep in hopes that the value will keep rising. One day that one item could be valued so high, you sell and make a fortune. Or the item holds no value and then you’re left with an item you realized you held on for nothing.

One of those items is a $1 bill, which you’re probably holding in your pocket or wallet right now. CNBC did a story about $1 bills that were misprinted by accident and then sent out for circulation. These bills have a twin bill with the same serial number out there. People are paying lots of money for these $1 bills. When a pair is found and sold together, they’re fetching values of over $2,300.

How Do You Know You Struck It Rich With Your $1 Bill?

A website dedicated to finding these matched bills was created. It’s called “Project2013B” and it’s helping people all over the country match these bills.

The printing mistake happened back in 2013. The bill must be a Series 2013 bill. Also, the bills will be marked with a “B” in the Federal Reserve Seal right above the serial number.

The bills serial number will also start with a B and end with a star, making it a Star Note. Only a set batch of numbers were double printed, which is why it makes these duplicates more valuable. If your bill has the previously stated items and a serial numbers between with B00000001* to B00250000* or B03200001* to B09600000*, you may wanna check the site. Your bill was part of the double printing error.

In all total, there are about 6 million of the misprinted bills, according to WealthyNickel.com. If you find one of these bills, you’re halfway there. You now need to locate that other matching bill to be able to make money. But it’s not just match the bills and you’re rich. The matching bills that were found, united and sold for thousands were also graded and encased. This is no easy task, but if you use the recourses that were created to help find these matching $1 Bills, you could make way more than a total of $2.

In February of this year, a player won exactly $1,208,521 after “hitting a massive Mega Progressive jackpot on pai gow poker,” the Las Vegas Review-Journal states.

The jackpot was hit on Feb. 28 around 3 a.m. at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino, the Review-Journal further reported.

Another great jackpot recently happened during Easter Weekend. You could say this was a “blessing.”

According to Fox 5, a Hawaiian visitor placed a $10 bet on the IGT’s Wheel of Fortune machine. The player was playing at the California Hotel & Casino when they won $1,172,262.

And in another rare instant last month, there were two million-dollar hits that happened inside of the high-limit gaming lounge in The Palazzo. This room opened last October, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

During the same week, two players won just over a million dollars. One player won $1,037,828 while playing the Dragon Link slot machine. Another player — just one day later — won $1,635,693 on a Wheel of Fortune Gold Spin Triple Gold machine, the Review-Journal said.

    What is Omakase, you may ask? Omakase is a Japanese way of being served. Omakase quite literally means, “I leave it up to you,” according to Sushi Umi’s website. Essentially, a chef curates a coursed-out menu for you, and it’s an intimate dining experience that takes you on a culinary adventure. The chef creates the menu and usually explains their inspiration for the dish.

    Along with being an experience, it’s also usually expensive with may omakase dinners ranging between $150 and up. In Las Vegas, one of the most famous spots for this type of dining is Kame Omakase.

    The signature omakase will cost you $500 per person and the premium option is $350. There are two time slots available each night, and it’s between the time of 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., according to the restaurant’s website.

    Omakase dinners usually serve fresh sashimi, expensive cuts of meat and fish such as controversial blue fin tuna, high-quality sea urchins, sweet shrimp and more. It’s the type of dinner that you never forget.
