It's bound to happen at some time or another, but there is a way a man's charcuterie board might be different. As say, to a board that might be prepared by a woman. The example this morning was given on The Mike & Carla Morning Show. An example given by Executive Producer Morty, who said sometimes you just have to be creative.

It all started this morning when Mike O'Brian came into the control room snacking on a "Lunchable." A little embarrassed, Mike stated, "...look at me, I'm 68 years old and look what I do for a living...and I'm eating a Lunchable!" With that said, Morty started laughing and mentioned how they came in handy over the holiday weekend!

A Charcuterie Board Using Lunchables Is A Bit Different!

Keep in mind that a very nice charcuterie board is that of fine meats, cheeses, fruit, crackers and more. Depending on what you like specifically, you can make it up with anything you like really. Depending on how you were raised and what you know, the board can also differ with bread, nuts and even pates. But, given your situation, you put together whatever you can in the moment.

Well, Morty went onto explain that while at the store, he noticed that Lunchables were on sale! Cha-ching! Killing two birds with one stone, we get our meats, cheeses and crackers for the board and we same money! At that point, Carla Rea was a little taken a back. Being Italian, she couldn't believe that Morty would actually do something like this. Carla, knowing that you use the finest of meats, cheeses and more to make that splendid board for guests.

It's not like you can find Prosciutto in these packaged snacks! But Morty did add to fancy it up a bit, he did at some Grey Poupon Mustard in the middle of it all. Like that would fix everything right? it was quite the segment that you can listen to below and enjoy!
