Starbucks is making a lot of fans happy this month. With the announcement of new limited edition Stanley cups AND free reusable holiday cups in November.

Starbucks announced earlier this month that they were bringing back their famous metallic red Stanley tumbler cup for the 2023 holiday season. And fans went nuts. Even though the cup was going for almost $50 in some places, people were still camping out to get them, Good Housekeeping reported. Here's a photo of them, if you're curious.

The first wave of these rare edition tumblers sold out in just a few days, according to Good Housekeeping. And they say that #StanleyQuencher reviews on TikTok have garnered over 100 million views. So, what is so amazing about these cups? Good question. It does keep water cold for a long time and it fits nicely in your car cup holder. But that's true for a lot of these kinds of tumbler. So, when it comes to the metallic red Stanley from Starbucks, it's many just a collector's thing.

Starbucks is also giving away free holiday cups on Red Cup Day.

So now for the second exciting announcement this month. November 16th is Red Cup Day. And participating Starbucks locations are celebrating by giving away limited edition, reusable red holiday cups. The holiday cup is available while supplies last, to any customer who purchases a signature holiday beverage from the Starbucks menu.

Comments from the Starbucks Instagram page indicate that it's only for drinks ordered from the holiday menu. And that it does include iced drinks as well. An easy way to tell what is on the holiday menu is to look under the holiday section on the Starbucks app. Keep in mind, though, that this is not a kickass Stanley tumbler. It's just one of those plastic reusable cups. Still cool if you're a cup collector or if you're obsessed with Starbucks.

And here's more info for coffee lovers.

7 Amazing Pumpkin Drinks That Don’t Come From Starbucks

If you're like me, you get seriously excited the first time you see that the Pumpkin Spice Latte is coming back around. It's like the Labor Day of the culinary world. An unequivocal sign that fall is here. Of course, Starbucks has had the monopoly on the PSL. They've been serving up that delectable drink for almost 20 years.

But other franchises eventually got on board the PSL train and started offering their own versions of pumpkin drinks. And in the modern age of DIYers, a lot of people started making them at home. I don't know about you, but I just can't get the one I make at home taste as good as the Starbucks one. Well, there's a reason for that.

The Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte has more fat, sugar and salt than you'd probably allow yourself to put into one cup at home. It's easy to drink all that up when it's delivered as a single drink out a drive thru window. Today.com once reported that a 16-oz PSL at Starbucks contained 18 grams of fat and 50 grams of sugar!

......What happened? Sorry I fainted. But seriously, that's your whole day's worth of sugar allowance. In one 16-ounce drink. Yikes!

So we CAN make our sacred Pumpkin Spice Latte at home. It just takes a combination of milk, coffee, pumpkin puree, and pumpkin pie spices. How you sweeten it is where the calories can add up. Some people use plain old sugar. Others get creative with agave or maple syrup. And don't get me started on all the fancy extras like vanilla bean or homemade caramel.

But what about those of us who want to branch out from the Starbucks PSL and don't have the time (or patience) to make one at home? Well, there are many other places in Las Vegas where you can find pumpkin drinks that might become your new favorite. Here are a few. We even threw a couple non-coffee pumpkin drinks in there for the caffeine-free weirdos...I mean people.

Madhouse Coffee - Pebble & Eastern

There are two Madhouse Coffees in the Las Vegas area. This one is on the corner of Pebble and Eastern and has a delicious assortment of food as well! And the staff is always super pleasant.

Madhouse Coffee - Desert Inn & Durango

Oh man, these guys have more than just the standard PSL. They also offer Pumpkin White Mocha, Pumpkin Chai and Pumpkin Matcha! You can't go wrong with any of them, and you can go very right with all three.

Grouchy John's Coffee

These guys use real pumpkin in their drinks. Ask for one hot, iced or blended. Delicious! Find them at Maryland Pkwy and Pebble.

Dutch Bros Coffee

A decadent spin on the traditional pumpkin spice latte is DB's Caramel Pumpkin Brulee Cold Brew. Available in Breve or Freeze as well. There's usually a line at Dutch Bros but it's so worth it for this drink.

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

This one has a little different of a flavor because it combines a hint of vanilla bean to the pumpkin.

Shake Shack

One of the best parts of this shake is the candied pumpkin seeds on top! This is only seasonal so it'll be gone soon.

Freddy's

You know I'm gonna throw a Freddy's plug in here. Because their stuff is amazing. And the Pumpkin Pie Concrete is no exception. It's not technically a drink since it's thick enough to eat with a spoon, but it has a whole piece of pumpkin pie in there! Soooooo good.
