Zippy’s Announces Second Location For Las Vegas
Even before they are opening their first location, Zippy’s is already announcing the opening of a second in Las Vegas! Bringing more of that “Hawaiian” style to the desert, Las Vegas has always been known as the “9th island”. The opening of a second location only enhances that island spirit!
According to Zippy’s, the first location, still being completed will open soon on South Rainbow and the 215. The hiring of personnel and being trained in Hawaii, so that when the time comes, everyone will be ready. Evidently, supply chain issues have hindered the opening of the first location.
With over 20 locations throughout the islands, Las Vegas will gladly take two Zippy’s here in the Valley. The second location will be a “drive-through” location in Henderson just off Warm Springs and Marks.
The Taste of Hawaii Is Coming To Las Vegas
Known for their island style menu, those that want a taste will soon be able to grab a delicious Daily Plate to make them feel like they are back home or on a Hawaiian vacation!
Hopefully the company is looking at other locations as well. Since the announcement of coming to Las Vegas back in 2019, the completion of the first location has been put on hold. However, driving past the construction site each and everyday, you can tell people are excited about the opening.
Zippy’s was the idea of two brothers back in 1966 and grew throughout Hawaii instantly. According to some, it was open a car wash or a restaurant. Really glad they went with the latter!
Coming to Las Vegas just seemed like a natural…with the Hawaiian population that’s already here, not too mention Zippy’s is open 24 hours! Fits in quite nice with our lifestyle here in Nevada!
So if you are craving the “local” cuisine, it won’t be that much longer. It’s safe to say the opening of Zippy’s will be sooner than later!
