Fleetwood Mac Items Sold At Auction Bringing In Big Bucks
A bunch of Fleetwood Mac items were put up for auction, including a bunch of Christine McVie items. These items were set to auction before she passed, but brought in a bunch of money. The auction was held by Julien’s Auctions this past Saturday and Sunday in Beverly Hills.
Over 800 items were auctioned off from 3 different members of the group. Wardrobes she wore and personal instruments she owned, as well as stage gear brought in big bucks! The Dress she wore on the “Rumours” album sold for $56,250 and another dress she wore at the 1976 Rock Music Awards sold for $31,250!
But it wasn’t any of her items that brought in the most money.
The cover of the “Rumours” album has Mic Fleetwood with a set of wooden balls dangling from his waist. Those exact wooden balls were put up for auction and brought in $128,000!
Now someone has a pair of wooden balls dangling in a display case…and those are some expensive balls!
