Move over, Tombstone, this show looks awesome. It is created by the co-creator of "Yellowstone", Taylor Sheridan. "1883" is the highly anticipated prequel to the Emmy® nominated drama series. It follows the Dutton family as they travel west in search of land and freedom, through the Great Plains toward the last of untamed America. The journey begins in Texas and ends in Montana, and is lead by Shea Brennan. Brennan is a cowboy who is as tough as they come, and there's only one actor for this role: Sam Elliott. Elliott brings the rough, tragedy-laden character to life with his talent, not that we have come to expect anything less from the star.

Fans of country music will surely flock to this series, as the lead roles of James and Margaret Dutton are played by the country music power duo, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Watching them on screen together is just as sweet as seeing them off the screen, and they bring an excitement to the screen only a real couple can feel about working together. James and Margaret Dutton are the great-grandparents of John Dutton, Kevin Costner's character in "Yellowstone".

You might also recognize Isabel May from "Young Sheldon". She joins the "1883" cast as Elsa, the daughter of James and Margaret Dutton.

Yellowstone’s Emmy® nominated production design trio, production designer Cary White, set decorator Carly Curry and art director Yvonne Boudreau, will be back to work on the "1883" series, so we know it's going to be amazing. And if the trailer is any indication, we're already hooked.

The world premiere of the series will be at the Wynn Las Vegas's Encore Beach Club, and will include the red carpet experience. At December 11th at 7:30, fans will be the first to see the first episode of the series. The rest of us will have to wait until the series premieres on Paramount+ December 19th.
