These little beauties are the latest adoptables at Hearts Alive Village

Please meet our Hearts Alive Village Adoptable Cat of the Week… Papa! Papa is a very sweet gentle 5-year-old who loves to be cuddled in as many pillows and blankets as possible. He loves to be scratched on his back and purrs endlessly when being snuggled. He hasn’t been able to really open up with the resident cats at his foster home, so he would probably be best in a home as a single kitty. We don’t know how he would be with dogs. Friskies canned cat food is his absolute favorite and everyday, he gets one can plus dry food. Papa is in a foster home, so if you’d like to meet him, please fill out an application on our website and we’ll arrange a meet and greet. https://heartsalivevillage.org/adoptable-cats/

The Hearts Alive Village Dog of the Week is Nora, a gorgeous 2-year-old pit bull who has the most delightful ears and a personality to go along with them! We pulled Nora from the local shelter back in August and she’s been learning the ropes at the Hearts Alive ReTREAT since then. She’s full of energy and has quite the zest for life.
Likes: Hiking, Playing, Lounging on bars
Dislikes: Other animals, People that never pick up the tab
Nora will need to be the only animal in the home. She doesn’t play nicely with other dogs and is VERY interested in small animals like cats and guinea pigs… and not in a way we encourage. This sweet girl will do best in an active home. She still needs to learn some manners, but she’ll be your outdoor adventure buddy and keep you entertained. She’s also one of the animals featured in our 2022 Calendar… so she’s kind of a big deal! If you’d like to meet her, please fill out an application at https://www.shelterluv.com/publish_animal/hav-a-5709
