Many parents are worried about the “Tripledemic” this holiday season; the Flu, COVID, and RSV. But, one of your child’s favorite activities around Christmas is meeting up with Santa Claus to tell him exactly what they want under the tree. At the very least, you want your child to have a photo taken with Santa for that scrapbook.
According to an article written by Kay McCabe on KTNV.com, the number of cases of RSV, or Respiratory Syncytial Virus, are on the rise here in the Las Vegas valley, especially among children. The symptoms for this particular virus pretty much imitate the common cold in adults. However, severe RSV in infants and young children can be very dangerous.
With these concerns in mind, may parents are opting to keep their little ones away from the crowds at the malls, Christmas villages, holiday light shows, and shopping centers, this holiday season. Online visits with Santa Claus were very popular during the pandemic in 2020, and they may also be very popular this holiday season, now that Thanksgiving is in the rear view mirror.
I just did a search for “online visits with Santa” and found quite a few websites from which to choose. I also found this article by Erin Cavoto, which was posted in December 2020. She listed eight websites on which to schedule a virtual meeting with “Jolly Ol’ Saint Nick,” but I am sure there are plenty of other sites you can find with a little time online.
Here are a few I found with just a couple of clicks on the mouse:

We are not promoting any of these. I have not checked them out for you. I’m just letting you know how easy it was to find a few of the many virtual Santa website services there are out there. So, cook up some hot chocolate and Christmas cookies, and be sure you make note of the toys your kids tell Santa they want while they are chatting with him online. Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la!
