The Stadium Tour featuring Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts is officially in the rearview. Now, the tour’s total gross and ticket sale numbers are finalized, and the figures are rather impressive.

Per Billboard, the tour grossed a total of $173.5 million and sold 1.3 million tickets over the course of 36 tour dates. The average ticket sales for each show were 37,520. The tour also marked the first time either act was involved performed exclusively at stadiums on a tour.

The outlet noted, “The hottest market on the co-headline tour was Boston, where a double-header at Fenway Park on Aug. 5-6 earned $9.3 million and sold 64,000 tickets. As for single-night earnings, they broke the $6 million threshold in Charlotte, N.C.; Denver; Glendale, Ariz; and Inglewood, Calif.”

The Stadium Tour was first announced in December 2019 and was originally going to take place in the summer of 2020. Like most major tours, it was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Despite being put on hold for two years, the tour went off without a hitch. The only notable hiccup was Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee being hampered by a rib injury at the start of the tour.
