Joey and Linda Kramer at Steven Tyler and Live Nation presents Inaugural Gala Benefitting Janie's Fund at Red Studios on January 28, 2018 in Los Angeles, California.

Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer’s wife, Linda Kramer, died at the age of 55 on June 22, according to an obituary in The Boston Herald. No cause of death was listed.

The day before she died, she tweeted birthday wishes to her husband, saying, “Happy birthday to the Love Of My LIFE!!”

Her death comes just months after Kramer said that he would be sitting out Aerosmith's Vegas residency. At the time, Kramer said, per USA Today, that he  “…regrettably made the decision to sit out the band’s concerts in 2022 so he can focus his full attention on his family during these uncertain times.” A statement from the band noted that it would be  “temporary leave of absence.” Since then, the band canceled much of the residency when singer Steven Tyler entered rehab.

As of now, per their website, the band has concerts scheduled for September 4 in Maine and September 8 in Boston; their Vegas residency picks up again on September 14.
