Quentin Tarantino, Uma Thurman Have Talked About Making ‘Kill Bill: Vol. 3’
Just days before the release of his ninth film, Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood, Quentin Tarantino is already talking about potentially his next, and supposed final, film.
Tarantino recently appeared on the Happy Sad Confused podcast when he dropped this very interesting update (as transcribed by Collider) about Kill Bill: Vol. 3.
“Me and Uma [Thurman] have talked about it recently, frankly, to tell you the truth,” said Tarantino. “I have thought about it a little further. We were talking about it literally last week. If any of my movies were going to spring from my other movies, it would be a third Kill Bill.”
This tidbit could lead to many things. At the very least, it indicates Tarantino and Thurman might be back on better terms. The two had a fight following a driving stunt in Kill Bill: Vol. 2 that Tarantino persuaded Thurman to do that resulted in Thurman being seriously injured. Thurman detailed the incident to The New York Times saying afterward, “Quentin and I had an enormous fight, and I accused him of trying to kill me. And he was very angry at that, I guess understandably, because he didn’t feel he had tried to kill me.”
