Summertime means pool parties, especially here in the desert. And it’s that special desert climate that adds to making our home city of Las Vegas the #1 city in America for hosting pool parties!
According to the website Upgraded Points, Sin City is the top destination mainly because of our hot, dry climate, “the number of homes with pools, and the relatively low cost of beer.” There’s not much chance for rain to ruin the party. Other factors they researched in this study included home size, the cost of party essentials like water, soda, beer and food, lawn size, average precipitation and average humidity, among others. So, it seems that we have the best of both worlds here in the Las Vegas Valley. We can head to a famous casino and resort on The Strip to soak up the sun and party poolside, or better yet, just kick back at home and enjoy the fun!
