By the way, if you’re looking to save money on any vacation, even expensive ones, one of the big tips is to figure out how to handle food and drink in advance. Food and drink can cost so much money, and it can lead to great savings if you decide to cut costs and not have big, lavish meals out. That’s because in vacation destinations, meals are often way more expensive than they are in normal places. One great tip is to bring nonperishable snacks from home to eat during your trip. If you have a lots of great snacks around to keep you full, you could even cut down on meals out while on vacation. Going from three to two meals a day on vacation could save you a lot of cash.
Now, onto the cheapest vacations destinations in the U.S. Conde Nest Traveler has a new feature out naming 10 great vacation spots in the country that won’t break the bank. “Whether you’re planning a grand family vacation or are looking for a quick and breezy solo trip to switch up the scenery, finding affordable places to travel in the US can be difficult,” they state. “There are so many different things to consider when planning a trip, from hotels and flights to food and activities, and it’s safe to say that it can all get rather overwhelming.”
So, the publication named Las Vegas one of the best spots for a cheap getaway. As for what makes it so great, Code Nest Traveler notes, “Simply walking (and gawking at) The Strip is an activity of its own, or take a hike to the Red Rock Canyon and enjoy the natural scenery. There are some great museums and exhibits to stop into as well, and seeing the Bellagio fountains is well worth a trip.”
