Hired Hitman Reportedly Responsible For 4 Las Vegas Murders
A hired hitman is now believed to be responsible for 4 murders in the Las Vegas area. He’s been in custody since 2023, but more information is now coming to light.
You always think hitmen are just characters that you see in movies or TV shows, but it turns out they are very real. There are actually people out there hired to execute murders. However, they don’t always get away with it. It might have taken some time, but law enforcement in Las Vegas has been putting pieces of the puzzle together and now believe they have their guy.
Was A Hired Hitman Responsible For 4 Murders In Las Vegas?
Just because you’re already in jail doesn’t mean you can’t get in even more trouble. One man in Las Vegas is now learning that first-hand. He’s already facing charges for one murder, and now could be looking at even more! The discovery was made while he was already detained in police custody.
According to 8 News Now, 40-year-old Michael Coleman has had three new open murder charges filed against him recently. That comes as he’s already in custody waiting for trial for a separate murder. 8 News Now reports that Coleman was arrested in May of 2023 for the murder of Kidada Stewart. He’s now facing several charges in that case, including 1st-degree murder. His trial for that case is expected to begin in October. While investigating, police learned about a man named Carl Chester, who allegedly defrauded the government of several Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans, per 8 News Now. When Chester didn’t get his cut of the money, he would use threats or violence to get his way, according to reports, and that included hiring Coleman to kill those who shorted him his money. 8 News Now reports that if Coleman couldn’t get to the targeted person, he would go after family members. That’s dark and twisted! Mob-like behavior.
After investigating, law enforcement now believes Coleman was involved in the murders of Benjamin McCarty, Marcus Larry, and William Hill Jr. These alleged murders took place between May of 2021 and November of 2022, per 8 News Now. According to 8 News Now, Chester was reportedly murdered in March of this year in what’s believed to be retaliation from Hill’s family members. Coleman is now facing three additional murder charges and charges of attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder. It’s a good thing police were able to put the pieces of the puzzle together to learn more about all of these reported cases.
