Sam's Town Transforms Into Winter Wonderland

As a local, the holiday times can become expensive especially in Las Vegas. Hotels start to transform into holiday hotspots with decorations and local malls start calling the north pole to borrow Santa for photo opportunities.

One place that many Las Vegans overlook is the Sam's Town Casino's Mystical Falls Park. The Boulder Strip hotel and gambling hall and is one of Vegas' oldest casinos. Inside they offer typical hotel attractions with restaurants, movies, bowling, gabling machines and hotel rooms but their atrium is beyond magical! Especially during the holiday times.

Mystical Falls Park Holiday Experience

Mystical Falls Park is their ginormous atrium with real trees, store fronts and ponds. A very calm and small-town vibe but for the holiday time it transforms into a winter wonderland spectacular.

A giant beautifully decorated Christmas tree, giant animatronic teddy bears, decorative presents, and lots of holidays lights can be found throughout the space. A beautiful waterfall creates a very serial atmosphere that lends you to believe you aren't in Vegas anymore.

A cobblestone trail leads guests to different parts of the magical experience. The best part is that it's FREE entry.

Santa Clause will be taking photos with singletons and families for the festive season. Dates, times and prices can be found on Sam's website here.

According to their SamstownLV.BoydGaming.com, the atrium features a Mystic Falls Laser Light Show. The light show takes place Monday - Thursday at 6:00 p.m, 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. and Friday - Sunday at 4:00 p.m., 6:00p.m., 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Influencers Allowed But Respect Is A Must

Mystical Falls makes the perfect backdrop for any influencers trying to capture the holiday vibes. As families are roaming the ways please be respectful to others and the workers of the hotel.

Be mindful when you are filming your vlogs or taking your selfies.

You can find Sam's Town located at 5111 Boulder Highway, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89122.

Holiday Attractions In Las Vegas Mean More Lights and Sparkle

Holiday attractions in Las Vegas will definitely get you into the spirit.

More Glittering Lights And More Enchantment

There is an abundance of glittering lights in Las Vegas. But there is even more glitter and sparkle in Las Vegas during the holiday season.

Out of town visitors always ask "what is there to do in Las Vegas for the holidays?" Plenty my friends, plenty.

I've lived in Las Vegas for 30 years now. When I moved to Las Vegas there were a few sparkly things to do here and there, and it centered around the holidays. But those events and attractions have grown a lot in the past several years.

Las Vegas is indeed the city of lights, but during the holidays our city shines even more spectacularly than usual. I thought I'd share with you some of my favorite holiday attractions.

From Enchant at The Las Vegas Ballpark, to The Glittering Lights at the Speedway and to the Cactus Garden at Ethel M Chocolate Factory -- all amazing. And guaranteed to get you in the holiday spirit!

Holiday Attractions For Everyone In Las Vegas

I've been to all of these over the years, but it seems that new ones pop up each year. From light shows, and displays. to all sorts of family-friendly fun, there is no shortage of attractions, events, and performances for the holiday season in our city of lights.

Now as far as anything that involves ice skating -- not really my thing. Because I'm about as clumsy as can be when it comes to being on skates. Especially on ICE. But I'll hold on to the little kids dolphin helper, so I don't fall. Or so my fall is less painful. Or - I'll just be over here, cheering you on.

This list just scratches the surface, but as I said, they are some of my favorites. If you haven't been, there's no better time that the present. And most likely they will become yearly traditions.

Hope to see you out and about!
