Jingle Bell Rock 2023 Pre-Party

Get ready because the next month or so you, your family, your friends and even the neighbors will be gathering clues to find the Vegas-famous, Jingle Bell Rock. The mega $10,000 cash prize is a wicked incentive to rack your brain cells! If you're late on bills, shopping for the holidays, planning an extravagant trip, the cash prize could help with all of those things. JBR "Hunters" in the past understand the struggle of staying up all night or pausing your work load to write down clues. Jingle Bell Rock scavengers may have even stopped at our local partner Meineke stores for the "Bonus Clues."

This year we wanted to go back to our roots and throw a party for our dedicated listeners who have spent their precious time looking for the rock!

You heard that right! This year we are inviting you to our Jingle Bell Rock Pre-Party!

The event is taking place Thursday, November 16 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Sierra-Gold.

This is your CHANCE to come and SEE THE ROCK. The physical rock, will be live and able to be touched. Come take pictures, boomerangs and/or videos with the infamous 96.3 KKLZ, Jingle Bell Rock.

Previous JBR winners will be at the party! Ask them tips and tricks on how they succeeded their hunt.

The pre-party will include FREE tasty appetizers, your first drink FREE and we will be hosting lots of awesome giveaways.

Well, Mike & Carla's World Famous "Jingle Bell Rock" has been found and returned home to 96.3 KKLZ! After listening each weekday to KKLZ for the past couple of weeks and following the clues, Morissa Baker found the "Jingle Bell Rock" just off Blue Diamond Rd. and Arroyo in plain site near the tiny town of Blue Diamond.

Morissa and John are Las Vegas locals who have been listening to 96.3 KKLZ for years. They are both active military in the Army National Guard.

The couple first started to participate in the Jingle Bell Rock exploration in 2007. They have been through highs and lows looking for the Jingle Bell Rock over the years. About three years ago, Morissa had wrecked her truck trying to win the 10K. But good things comes to those who are persistent. This was a BIG win for the duo as this is their first time winning something off of the radio. John calls Morissa the, "female Indiana Jones."

The rock was placed at Arroyo and Blue Diamond on the side of the road.

The BIG question that everyone is dying to know... "What clue did they find the Jingle Bell Rock" on? The answer is...

"If You're Sick, Pull Over" which was the clue given out at around 9:10 a.m.

Morissa confirmed that they found the rock in the 11 a.m. hour. Her mom was helping her look for the rock all morning and about 20 minutes before Morissa found it... they had parted ways. Morissa says she saw the Jingle Bell Rock out of her driver's side window.

Morissa and John are engaged and plan to use the money for Christmas and to pay for some of their wedding. We are very excited for the couple as they have been together for a long time. As we all know weddings are not cheap and this prize will help bring two people closer together.
