Watch: Rob Telles Co-Worker Goes On The Record
Earlier this week, Clark County Assistant Public Administrator Rita Reid went on the record with ABC News and Good Morning America on the Rob Telles murder investigation. Here is the segment from September 13th:

If you haven’t already heard, Clark County Public Administrator, Robert Telles, has been arrested and charged with the murder of local Las Vegas Review-Journal investigative journalist Jeff German. It should be noted that Rita Reid worked alongside Telles for three years before bringing information to German regarding the stressful work environment in the Public Administrators office. She ran against Telles earlier this year in the Democratic primary for the Clark County Public Administrator position.
After watching the unedited interview, it is obvious that Rob Telles was not an ideal boss or supervisor. According to Reid, Telles seemed to feel he could say anything, vent his anger, choose favorites, and assign heavy workloads to anyone he chose. German’s series of articles about the toxic work environment in the Public Administrator’s office were certainly going to anger Telles, but apparently, no one thought he would vent his anger in a murderous rage.
It is certainly a tragic state of affairs when Las Vegas and Clark County are part of the national news cycle due to a politically and emotionally charged murder investigation. Our condolences to the family, friends, and co-workers of brave, long-time, local investigative journalist, Jeff German. R.I.P.
