Rick Springfield is performing two nights in Las Vegas this weekend.
The award winning singer songwriter will be playing two nights at The STRAT Theater at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Skypod. Springfield has played in Vegas several times over the years. But this concert will be different. The STRAT Theater is a very intimate venue that holds only 900 people.
Springfield says he’s looking forward to the upcoming performance in The STRAT‘s cozy showroom. He told Las Vegas Magazine, “If you want to get up close with it nice and loud, it’s the place to be.” And that means the already intimate nature of Springfield’s shows will be even more so.
If you’ve never seen Rick Springfield in concert, this would be the time to do so. And make sure you have your camera ready because the singer is not shy. He is known to spend his concerts walking up and down the aisles giving fans high fives along the way. And in a room this small, it’s a pretty good bet you’ll have a chance to get up close and personal. At least long enough to take a selfie with the star.
It’s not one of those concerts where there’s an obvious separation between artist and fan. That’s not how Rick Springfield rolls.
Just because Springfield is intimate in his rapport with the crowd, does not mean he doesn’t bring the thunder on the stage. The guy is always very energetic in his shows. And he encourages the crowd to sing along. While you’re enjoying the music, don’t forget to try some of Springfield‘s Beach Bar rum. He’s been helping Sammy Hagar produce it since the two became business partners.
Springfield‘s set list usually covers many of his seventeen Top 40 hits. Including Love Is Alright Tonite, Bop Til You Drop, and Human Touch. Here are the Top 10 hits you’ll definitely hear as well. – Wendy Rush
