Kylie Minogue just announced she is headed to Las Vegas!

The singer songwriter will be performing her first-ever residency at the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. Minogue made the announcement this week on her Twitter page. Saying she’s excited to headline the show that will be at the Venetian Resort’s new entertainment venue, Voltaire.

Dubbing it “more than just a residency” with her hashtag, Minogue seems to have something different up her sleeve for the run of shows. And the Voltaire is the perfect place to unleash the singer’s prowess. It holds only 1000 seats and is described as a cabaret-style venue. Minogue says her show will be a combination of many elements, including concert and intimate club atmosphere, billboard.com reported.

Minogue’s new album.

Minogue is currently working on releasing her sixteenth studio album. Titled Tension, the album’s release date is September 22. Just before her residency is slated to begin on November 3, 2023. The single Padam Padam from this album is already making waves around the world. Increasing the Australian-born singer’s already prominent international popularity.

And we’re expecting a lot of her international fans to visit Sin City during this residency. Which the “Can’t Get You Outta My Head” singer promises will make people want to get up and dance. Another reason the Voltaire is a perfect venue. The design of the venue’s interior is very conducive to such a show, making it easy for people to dance right at their tables.

Fans attending the show can also expect some eye-catching costumes. Minogue is working with the same costume designer that has dressed the likes of Beyonce and Mariah Carey for her residency (billboard.com). Her goal is to bring a heavy couture style that gives people an escape from the casino.

Where to get tickets.

Tickets go on sale for the residency on August 9 at VoltaireLV.com.

Here are some of Minogue’s biggest hits that you’ll be sure to catch at the show. So get your dancing shoes on. – Wendy Rush, 96.3 KKLZ

  • Get Can't You Outta My Head

From Minogue’s 2001 Fever album. The song we all got hooked on because of the “la la la”s in the chorus. This was the album’s lead single and went to number one on charts around the world.

  • Padam Padam

From her upcoming album Tension (2023). This song has already gone to number one in some countries. Which puts Minogue in the club of musicians having a top 10 single for five decades in a row.

  • All The Lovers

This is the lead single from the Minogue’s eleventh studio album Aphrodite. Which was released in 2010. Like many other Minogue songs, this one is meant to bring people out to the dance floor.

  • Magic

From Disco (2020). This was the second single from Minogue’s fifteenth studio album. It got positive reviews upon its release, probably because of the lyrics. They’re very bright and optimistic.

  • Spinning Around

From Light Years (2000). This was Minogue’s seventh studio album. Fun fact: this song was cowritten by Paula Abdul. And was actually originally meant for Abdul’s own album.

  • Confide In Me

From Kylie Minogue (1994). This album was self-titled, like many debut albums. But it’s far from Minogue’s debut. This was her fifth studio album. The song got great reviews, many complimenting Minogue’s voice.
