Whether you’re a Las Vegas local or just visiting for the holiday, there are lots of places to go to find a great meal on Christmas. And you don’t have to go to (or even near) the Strip to find them.
Don’t get me wrong, the Las Vegas Strip is beautiful during the Christmas season. With all the decorations and festive music. Not to mention plenty of world class restaurants. Let’s just say we have options here in Sin City. But many locals famously avoid the Strip during the busy season.
Many of us have the Christmas tradition of making a big holiday dinner at home. But sometimes we just want someone else to do the cooking. Especially when we just barely threw away the leftovers from the huge meal we made on Thanksgiving. And we don’t need to add even more to the mountain of dishes in the sink from finally cleaning out the old leftovers.
Fortunately for us, Las Vegas is packed with places to dine out, and many of them are even open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
That means you can still take advantage of the holidays with all your favorite foods but without all the work. Of course our strip casinos never shut down, so you could always mosey on over to one of those to find a bite. But perhaps you’d like something off the strip. Because if you’re going to deal with all that traffic stress to get to your Christmas meal, maybe you should have just cooked after all.
So if you’re looking for a place that’s off the Las Vegas Strip, where you can still get all the flavors of the holidays without the hassle, this list is for you. All of these local restaurants are offering special holiday menus on Christmas Day and/or Christmas Eve. Including Brio Italian Grille in Town Square and all three Buca di Beppo restaurants in town. Both of which are offering holiday catering. The following list is specifically of restaurants that have a special menu for the holiday.
Garden Buffet - South Point Casino
Christmas Buffet
The Garden Buffet will be offering a Christmas Menu all day (8am – 9pm) on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Including Roasted Turkey with all the trimming, Prime Rib, Pumpkin Pie and all their traditional favorite dishes. Price is $27.95 per person with a club card and $30.95 without. Santa Fe Station
Christmas Prime Rib Dinner
There aren’t a lot of places in the north part of time offering a special Christmas menu, at least not for a dine-in option. But if you are in that part of town, Santa Fe Station will still cook your meal for you to eat at your place. They’re offering an entire menu available for pick up starting at 9am on Christmas Eve. For a total of $325 plus tax, you get Prime Rib, Winter Harvest Salad, Wild Rice Pilaf, Garlic Au Gratin Potatoes, Sautéed Green Beans, Butter Baby Carrots, Silver Dollar Dinner Rolls & Butter, and Cinnamon Bread Pudding.
