New LEGO Store Coming To Las Vegas

The LEGO Store is opening a second location in Las Vegas. This new location is off of the strip, located at Downtown Summerlin.

Las Vegas currently has one official LEGO store which is located at the Fashion Show Mall across from the Apple Store. That is all about to change and as a Vegas local who loves LEGOS, this is exciting news!

Downtown Summerlin Welcomes New LEGO Store

You heard right – Downtown Summerlin is getting an all new store that’s perfect for kids and adults! The official LEGO store. The store front is decked out in white LEGO wall paper in preparation for the grand opening. The new store will open in late spring of 2024 according to a sign posted on the door.

This will benefit the locals in Las Vegas who no longer have to commute all the way to the Strip to get exclusive LEGO sets. The store is located where the former Lucky Brand was on the same side of the street as Sur La Table but across from the Abercrombie & Fitch. The store is on the corner of W. Rosemary Park Dr. and Festival Plaza Dr.

Building Community In The 702

As silly as it sounds, adding a place like the LEGO store builds community. This is not just another building but a location for creatives to express themselves. LEGOS offers an outlet for many.

According to Linkedin.com, “By providing an avenue for play, stress reduction, creativity, a sense of achievement, social connection, cognitive stimulation, and mindful escape, LEGO has proven its ability to enhance mental resilience and contribute to a healthier and happier adult life.” Not only are LEGOS fun but there is scientific evidence that shows how helpful they can be.

We can’t wait to see what the location will look like on the inside. Hopefully it’s similar to the Downtown Disney location in Anaheim, CA where there are life-size LEGO creations around the store. How cool would that be?

While we wait for this store location to open The Fashion Show mall location is open Sunday through Monday.

Store Hours of Operation:

Monday – Thursday 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Friday – Saturday – 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Sunday – 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Daiso Opens New Location In Downtown Summerlin Las Vegas

Ask and you shall receive. The famous Japanese discount store Daiso Japan has made it to Entertainment Capital of the World. The first Las Vegas store opened in December of last year making it the 81 U.S. store to open from the popular discount franchise.

Local Las Vegan fans were excited for their arrival showing up early just to get in line. The first location is located at 7285 Arroyo Crossing Pkwy #125, Las Vegas, NV 89118.

Daiso Japan is known for selling home goods, beauty and cosmetics, adorable squishy plushes, stationary sets, kitchen utensils and many more collectic items. Their singular prices are what sets them a part from many other discount stores. Many of their items are priced below five dollars making many items super affordable. Many of their products are pop cultured themed which is a standout to their discount competitors. Some brands you may recognize include: BTS, Sanrio, Disney, TokiDoki and many more.

The second store has just opened in in Downtown Summerlin, next to Skechers, located at 11035 Lavender Hill Dr #110 Las Vegas, NV 89135. This is the brand’s 85 U.S. store to open. The first 100 customers on Saturday August 20 and Sunday August 21 had the option of choosing between two prizes for arriving so early. The first 100 customers could choose a GOODIE BAG with minimum of a 30 dollar purchase or the the first 100 customers could choose a MYSTERY plushie with minimum of 50 dollar purchase.

It is important to note that not all items are cheap and some will marked accordingly. The company has plans for a third location to open in the Henderson area later this year. We are very exited to see the discount store chain in Southern Nevada and can’t wait to see what’s to come from the Kawaii brand. For those who don’t know, Kawaii means “cute” in Japanese.
