The Las Vegas Festival You Didn’t Know Was Happening
There is a festival happening this week in Las Vegas you may not have heard anything about. It’s the Las Vegas Science and Technology Festival, hosted by the Las Vegas Natural History Museum. Admission is absolutely free for all events, although you may have to register for those with limited slots available.
The festival kicked off last Friday, April 28th, and continues through this Saturday, May 6th. These events are aimed at getting kids interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, or STEM. In fact, the local CCSD school which has the most students and family members attend this festival will receive a $1,000 dollar award!
In a world filled with social media and celebrity culture, it can be a tough sell to get young students interested in any of these subjects. That’s why hosts of this festival are offering lots of interactive presentations, movie nights, and tours of Southern Nevada attractions like the Atomic Museum, the Neon Museum, and the CSN Planetarium.
Believe it or not, this is the 11th year for the Las Vegas Science and Technology Festival. I had never heard about it until I read an article by Lauren Negrete on 8NewsNow.com, and I have lived here for over 29 years. It may be a good idea to get your kids involved in these activities because more and more technology driven businesses are moving to our region. That’s where the job opportunities are going to be for your young students.

Las Vegas Music Festivals You Can't Miss In 2023
Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world, so of course you’re going to find the best festivals held in Las Vegas! 2023 is bringing a bunch of them including some festivals returning!
Vegas gets an average of 35-38 million visitors a year! Not to mention being home to about 2.5 million people. So when it comes to music festivals, why not have it in Las Vegas! With numbers like that it’s almost guaranteed to sell out!
There’s a music festival now for every genre of music, being held in Sin City!
Plus with the Las Vegas hotels on the strip, or the beautiful atmosphere of Downtown Las Vegas, there’s never a bad backdrop for these music fests!
In 2023, Vegas will play host to five major festivals. Three of the festivals will be held at one location on the Las Vegas strip. Another one downtown and one up North in the outskirts of the Vegas strip! Which festivals you may ask? Well below are the five festivals!
Tickets to these shows may be hard to come by because most of these shows are already sold out. Or when tickets do go on-sale, they sell out in mere minutes! With this being said, it’s not impossible to find a ticket secondhand, but just be careful where you buy them from or who you’re buying them from. There are a bunch of approved resell sites who you can trust. A lot of people will try to buy them off someone in a Facebook group, dedicated to that particular show, but that may not be the best way because you set yourself up to be scammed! DON’T BE SCAMMED!
So without further ado, here are the top five festivals that are coming to Southern Nevada you need to attend this year!
