The one and only Sting comes back to Las Vegas!
Sting is bringing his “My Songs” residency back to the Colosseum at Caesars Palace for six nights only. His short residency kicks off April 1 and goes through April 9.
With his clever banter, unique costuming and unbelievable musical talent, it’s a show not to miss. And when we say this guy is talented, we mean it. He is a 17-time Grammy winner. And he’s sold close to 100 million albums between his solo work and his work with The Police.
Sting’s shows always get great reviews.
People are often wowed about how young the 71-year old looks. He does yoga everyday and eats an organic diet. And it shows. Not only in his looks, but his performances. His voice hasn’t waivered over the years. And he always delivers the goods.
For his shows, Sting typically follows a regimen.
He kicks off his set with some older hits, both from his solo career and his work with The Police. Then he often reserves the middle for some lesser-known or new work. And he finishes strong with crowd favorites and sing-a-longs at the end.
There might be some new music from his latest album.
Sting wrote The Bridge during the pandemic and released it in 2021. So there might be a few songs from that album. Most likely Rushing Water, If it’s Love and For Her Love.
Sting released My Songs in 2019. And the album has a lot of his older hits in a new version. There will be plenty of those at this show.
Here’s a list of songs you can be sure to hear at the upcoming residency.
This is not all of the songs Sting is known to play at his shows. These are just the ones he’s been doing most recently. Others you have a good chance of hearing include Englishman In New York and Shape of My Heart. Heavy Cloud No Rain, I Hung My Head and She’s Too Good For Me haven’t been played at his most recent shows but were on his setlist the last time he was in Vegas.
He usually does a pretty long set. His shows typically last over two hours. – Wendy Rush
