Three entertainment venues in Laughlin, Nevada have just released their schedule of live music through February 2024. And we like what we see.

We like what we’ll hear too. The line-up consists of some beloved bands from yesteryear. As well as some cover bands playing a variety of hits. Famous comedy acts and psychics are included in the line-up. And, of course, Rod Stewart will be gracing visitors in Laughlin, Nevada with his energetic music as well.

If you are visiting Las Vegas in the next six months, or you live here, planning a staycation in Laughlin might not be a bad idea. Besides this awesome schedule of entertainment, Laughlin has gaming, spas, a cruise on the Colorado river, and more. Plus, you won’t have to pay those crazy Strip resort prices.

But, Wendy, is it REALLY worth the drive? I’m glad you asked. Yes, yes it is. First of all, it’s really not that long of a drive. Just an hour and a half from the north side of the Strip. Second, it’s a quick drive because I’ve rarely seen heavy traffic on the I-95 South once you’re out of Henderson.

And third, there really is enough to do to fill a couple of days in town. You can check out Don Laughlin’s classic car collection. See the Indian sketches in the rocks of Grapevine Canyon. Take pics at Davis Dam. And walk right along the Colorado river on the Riverwalk.

Plus, something the Strip can’t offer: an overnight stay right along the Colorado River. Most of the resorts in Laughlin are right along the water. And some, like the Aquarius Casino Resort and Edgewater Casino Resort, offer specials that include breakfast or other good eats with bookings. Wherever you choose to stay, you’ll be within walking distance of the entertainment.

Now there’s just one more problem…choosing which of these shows to see. Decisions….decisions.

  • Rod Stewart

Promotional photo of Rod Stewart. He's wearing a white button up shirt under a flashy jacket. Holding a microphone near his torso and smiling at the camera.

Even if you’ve seen this guy already at Caesar’s Palace, it would be a different experience in Laughlin. The Laughlin Event Center is an outdoor venue. Stewart will be performing there on November 3. And that would make for one beautiful desert night of music.

  • Starship & Foghat

Promotional Poster of Foghat and Starship.

How about a twofer for your Laughlin trip? These two will be playing on the same night at the Edge Pavilion on October 28, 2023. Starship will be featuring Mickey Thomas on hits like We Built This City and Nothin’s Gonna Stop Us Now. Plus you’ll get Slowride, Drivin’ Wheel and more with Foghat. It’s like a win-win.

  • Air Supply

Promotional photo of Air Supply. They are wearing white button up shirts under black vests. Standing on a dry lake bed.

Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock have been doing their thing as Air Supply for the last five decades. Their performances are seasoned and fun. With hits like All Out of Love and Now And Forever, this show would be a great choice for a romantic weekend in Laughlin. They’ll be playing at The Edge Pavilion on February 17, 2024.

  • Larry The Cable Guy

Promo photo of Larry The Cable Guy in a trucker hat and sleeveless shirt. He's smiling and pointing at the camera.

Maybe you’re looking more for a weekend of laughs. That’s where this guy can help you out. He’s one of the top comedians in the country and you can see him live at The Edge Pavilion on December 2, 2023.

  • Matt Fraser

Promotional photo of psychic Matt Fraser. Smiling at the camera in front of a CGI background of clouds, he is wearing a white tuxedo jacket with black lapel over a black shirt.

This is Matt Fraser, and he’s very happy to be here. Fraser is one of the most popular mediums right now. He’s used his psychic ability on a ton of celebrities, including Gloria Estefan, Jenny McCarthy and Donny Wahlberg. Maybe you’re next. He’ll be blowing minds on November 25, 2023 at the Edge Pavilion.

  • The Clairvoyants

Promotional photo of the Clairvoyants mentalism duo. They are standing back to back in front of a blur background. Both with arms crossed looking at the camera. She is on the left in a blue sleeveless gown and he is on the right in a gray suit.

These two were on the 11th season of America’s Got Talent, and I’m still scratching my head. How do they do those mind-reading tricks? Maybe seeing them in person will be easier to figure that out. They’ll be at the Edge Pavilion on January 13, 2024.
