Southern Hills Hospital is getting ready to celebrate Halloween, and they’re not leaving anyone out. The hospital staff dressed up the littlest of their patients in pumpkin costumes and shared the photos. And they’re so precious! And a sweet gesture for the babies who will be spending Halloween in the hospital and not at home.

Southern Hills Hospital opened its doors in 2004. They currently have 265 beds and employ 1,400 physicians and another 1,200 medical employees. The establishment has always been great about celebrating important days, and important people, in our community. They recently celebrated National Food Service Employee week with a tribute on their Facebook page and showed their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month by wearing pink in their photos.

The hospital staff further got into the Halloween spirit this year by decorating the NICU like a pumpkin patch to elaborate on the Halloween theme, news3lv.com reported. You can see some of the photos that Southern Hill Hospital shared of our little Las Vegas babies.

And, of course, looking at these sweet faces just left me wanting more. I went down the rabbit hole of babies in costumes. Cause, how can you not? It’s so fun to see kiddos dressed up like ghosts, goblins and our favorite superhero.

I didn’t get professional Halloween photos done when Z was a baby. Being a new mom was tiring enough. I certainly didn’t have the energy to do the whole lights, camera, costume thing. And now I am totally bummed I didn’t because these photos are so sweet! I’m sure the parents who were more forethinking than I am are glad they went through the trouble. Oh well, there’s always senior prom. 🙂

Thank you to Southern Hills Hospital for sharing their photos of the newborns in the NICU. And here is more adorableness for you. Happy Halloween!
