Famous Natural Blondes...Or Are They?
It's always interesting to see what someone's natural hair color is. Especially if that person has made a name for themselves sporting a signature shade in their locks. Like Lucille Ball. One of Hollywood's most famous redheads...is actually a brunette. I know. We didn't believe it either. And many famous blondes aren't natural either.
Many women in Hollywood (and probably even a few in your social circle) are known for dying their hair blonde. Maybe to seem more fun. Or because they heard gentlemen prefer them. Or because it was a prerequisite to live in the Playboy Mansion. There have been many reasons over the years that women have wanted to be blonde.
Bleach Blondes Have Fallen Out Of Fashion
But in the last few years, the desire to look like those Baywatch blondes has definitely fallen out of fashion. Some say it was the pandemic that made it too hard to maintain the look. With everyone staying at home and fewer salons open. Others blame the Kardashians for making darker features the trend. And some even say it's Gen Z that officially declared blonde hair to be untrendy.
Whatever the reason, now not only are we seeing fewer people bleach their hair. But there are also more celebrities who are actually covering up their natural blonde locks in favor of more trendy colors. There are even some celebrities who have been in the spotlight for years as a signature redhead or brunette. With their natural blonde hair always hiding just at the root.
